The dish we made today (1st November 2008) was <span style="font-weight:bold;">Chicken Tikka Masala</span><br />
It was very mouth watering, and it left a taste behing &#8211; and it&#8217;s a good one! We did very good for a first time. The dish was mostly chicken and tomato, and a lot of herbs &#8211; which is why it left a taste behind. I would recommend this to a first-timer. I would rate this 4/5. If you have the DS software, in the notes section we put &#8216;Good for a first time  Leaves a taste behind&#8217;</p>

<span style="text-decoration:underline;">Ingredients</span><br />
(Serves 2)<br />
240g chicken breast<br />
<span style="font-style:italic;">Marinade for Chicken</span><br />
1/3 tsp salt<br />
1 tsp garam masala<br />
1 2/3 cloves of garlic<br />
4g ginger<br />
2 tbsps plain yougurt<br />
1 tbsp cooking oil<br />
1/2 onion<br />
360g tomatoes<br />
1 2/3 cloves of garlic<br />
4g ginger<br />
1 tbsp cooking oil<br />
1 tsp cumin powder<br />
3 tbsps water<br />
2 tbsps sugar<br />
1 tsp salt<br />
finely-chopped parsley (to taste)<br />
<span style="font-style:italic;">Ingredients to as preferred</span><br />
cooked rice<br />
naan bread</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration:underline;">How To Make</span><br />
1) Chop the onion &#8211; Peel, Chop Finely<br />
2) Chop the tomatoes &#8211; Dice into 1cm cubes, remove stem<br />
3) Slice the ginger &#8211; Peel, Chop Finely<br />
4) Chop The Garlic &#8211; Peel, Chop Finely<br />
5) Cut the Chicken &#8211; Cut into 2cm chunks, remove skin<br />
6) Making The Marinade &#8211; 1/3 tsp salt and 1 tsp garam masala. Add the finely chopped garlic and ginger. Mix the 2 tbsps of yougurt. Add chicken pieces. Mix, leave for 15 mins<br />
7) Place the pan over a low heat and add 1 tbsp of oil<br />

9) Add the rest of the finely chopped garlic and ginger.<br />
10) Fry the garlic and ginger until fragrant<br />
11) Add tomatoes, Fry until moisture from tomatoes has evaporated<br />
12) Add 1 tsp of cumin powder and 1 tsp of garam masala<br />
13) Add 1 tsp of salt and 2 tsp of sugar and simmer for about 2 mins<br />
14) Add 3 tbsps of water and simmer for 2 mins<br />
15) In seperate frying pan, heat 1 tbsp of olive oil<br />
16) Gently fry marinated chicken over a low heat<br />
17) Add the sauce to the chicken and mix well<br />
18) Once you have mixed the chicken and sauce, bring the sauce briefly to the boil before quickly removing it from the heat<br />
19) Transfer the curry onto the rice, add the parsley and serve with nann bread.<br />
20) ENJOY!!!</p>
